I have a ridiculous new hobby....I say ridiculous because, who really needs that much cake in their lives (or frosting in their refrigerator)? But alas, I have become addicted, and worse yet, my husband fully supports the hobby, so I have come to make entirely too many cakes.
With a large collection of birthdays in January and February I have had a lot of opportunities to practice. I am DEFINITELY still in practice mode. Every cake has multiple different fillings and frostings in an attempt to find my favorites. I think I had one cake with 5 different frostings/fillings.... Let's just say, I'm going through a lot of cream and butter.
Yesterday I made the Pink Party Cake, I forgot my camera, but several cousins took pictures, I am hoping they email them to me (hint hint!)... It was my first double stacked cake, and my first gum paste flowers... I decorated with a 5 year old pink princess in mind... It was a bit overkill, but suitable for a Pink Party... Hopefully pictures to come...

Greyson's 1st Birthday cake...He started with a fingertip, then went for the full on bite....
This one was for my favorite radio station, Radio From Hell X96, and helped me to win a Valentine's contest!
So, if you need some frosting I have several tubs in my refrigerator and if you need to get rid of your 'too big' clothes, I fear I'll be needing those too....
